Frequently Asked Questions
Dig-IT.World is a student community platform for AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning) awareness and literacy for High School Students by High School Students. Members of the Dig-IT team create learning content and write Blogs on various AI/ML subjects. Using the Dig-IT content, registered users/students learn how to create interesting AI applications from prebuilt AI models. See FAQ on "How to use the website?" for more details.
Dig-IT.World website has three key sections: Learning Tracks, Blogs and Apps.
Students can learn about the basics of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning technology by reading through various Learning Tracks. No prior knowledge of AI/ML or Python programming language is assumed. From time to time, the Dig-IT.World team may conduct web sessions to help clarify doubts. See FAQ on "What are Learning Tracks?" for more details.
Once the Students have gone through the Learning Tracks, they should have adequate knowledge to be able to create exciting AI/ML Applications from prebuilt AI/ML Models. Students can submit their Apps for public listing on Dig-IT.World website in the Apps section. See FAQ on "What are Apps and how to create and list one?" for more details.
Students may also learn about a variety of topics of interest on AI/ML by going through a large number of articles that have been contributed by other high school students in the Blogs section. If a student has a unique perspective to share, she/he may also contribute to the Blogs section. See FAQ on "What are Blogs and how to write / edit a Blog?" for more details.
Learning Tracks are the starting point for students who desire to learn Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning technology. No prior knowledge of AI/ML or Python programming language is assumed. However, students must have working knowledge of programming in any language. For students who don't have that, it may be a very steep and long learning curve.
Learning Tracks have following key tracks that we encourage students to follow in order:
- Introduction to AI: gives a brief overview of what AI is all about and the building blocks of the same
- Learning Python: learn to program in python and get to a proficiency level that is adequate for AI/ML programming
- Pandas:
- Charting & Plotting using Matplotlib:
- Machine Learning / using Pytorch:
- Some Computer Vision lib:
In Blogs, students write on a variety of AI/ML topics, which include both technical and non technical articles
